Arts in Business Award

Arts in Business Award, presented to honor businesses in the Greensboro area for their leadership, commitment and vision to provide exemplary support of the arts. The award is presented by the United Arts Council of Greater Greensboro, the Greensboro Merchants Association and the Greensboro Chamber of Commerce. Nominations are accepted in March of each year.

 

Mitchell & Bartlett Orthodontics Win 2010 Arts in Business Award

Mitchell & Bartlett Orthodontics is an outstanding example of an organization that embraces and employs art in their workplace. Under the exemplary leadership of Dr. Kelly Mitchell, Mitchell & Bartlett Orthodontics celebrate and support the arts by hosting and sponsoring student art shows in their Greensboro and Kernersville offices. Mitchell believes, "it's important to awaken and encourage any creative urge at an early age. Everywhere people are seeing the social and economic value of community arts involvement."
       Nominations for the 2010 award included Fairway Outdoor Advertising, Mack and Mack, Mitchell & Bartlett Orthodontics, and Lincoln Financial Group.
