Funded in part by the NC Arts Council
The United Arts Council’s (UAC) Cultural Partner Grant Investment (CPGI) program provides financial support to arts organizations and individual artists who deliver a quality artistic product and whose work serves our diverse community, fosters arts education for our children, and/or promotes Greensboro as a cultural destination. Funding for the CPGI program is made possible through the support of foundations, corporations, individuals and the NC Arts Council, an agency funded by the State of NC and the National Endowment for the Arts.
Applicants may make application to the UAC through a non-profit fiscal agent. A fiscal agent is an entity that serves as a fiscal sponsor by receiving and administering funds. If you require a fiscal agent, you should seek out an organization that demonstrates an interest in work similar to yours. The Fiscal Agent must sign all required forms as the authorizing official. In cases where an applicant is using a fiscal agent, the fiscal agent - as well as the applicant - is fiscally and legally responsible for all grant requirements. There must also be a demonstrated relationship and spirit of cooperation between the applicant and the fiscal agent. The fiscal agent is responsible for the expenditure of all grant investment funds and is liable for the repayment of any funds not spent or spent incorrectly.
